HuntVerify is a digital hunting membership, trophy documentation, verification and achievement platform. Because the platform may process information relating to members, hunters, trophies, hunts, outfitters, professional hunters and other industry participants, protecting personal information is an important part of how HuntVerify operates.

By using HuntVerify, you acknowledge that your personal information may be processed as described in this Privacy Policy and in accordance with applicable law.
 

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Depending on how you use HuntVerify, we may collect information including your name, surname, email address, telephone number, country, account information, membership information and other information you provide to HuntVerify.

When using trophy-related services, information may include trophy photographs, species, sex, measurements, measuring method, weapon or hunting method, hunt information, outfitter or professional hunter information, supporting documents and other information submitted as part of a trophy record.

We may also collect information relating to Slam and Achievement participation, Trusted Outfitter applications, enquiries, support requests and other HuntVerify services.
 

3. HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION

HuntVerify may collect information directly from you when you create an account, become a member, register a trophy, upload supporting information, claim an achievement, submit an application, contact an outfitter, communicate with HuntVerify or otherwise use the platform.

Certain technical and usage information may also be generated when you interact with the HuntVerify website or services.

Information may additionally be received through service providers used to operate the HuntVerify platform where permitted by applicable law.
 

4. HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

HuntVerify may use personal information to operate and administer the platform, create and manage accounts and memberships, process trophy submissions, conduct verification, maintain Digital Trophy Rooms, calculate Slam progress, issue achievements and certificates, maintain eligible record listings and provide other HuntVerify services.

Information may also be used to respond to enquiries, provide support, communicate important account or service updates, maintain platform security, investigate misuse and improve HuntVerify services.

HuntVerify will process personal information only for legitimate platform, contractual, legal or other permitted purposes.
 

5. TROPHY AND HUNT INFORMATION

Trophy submissions may contain information necessary for HuntVerify to document and assess a hunting achievement.

Not all information submitted during trophy registration or verification is intended for public display.

HuntVerify may retain additional information privately where reasonably necessary to support verification, record integrity, administration or the services requested by the member.

Sensitive hunt, hunter or location information will not automatically become part of a public HuntVerify record merely because it was submitted for verification.
 

6. PUBLIC HUNTVERIFY RECORDS

Where a trophy, Slam, Achievement or other eligible record is approved for public display, HuntVerify may publish selected information associated with that record.

Public information may include items such as a HuntVerify identifier, species, trophy photograph, measurement information, achievement status or other information approved for the applicable public record.

HuntVerify may limit information displayed through public verification services to protect private member, hunt and location information.
 

7. PHOTOGRAPHS AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

Users may upload photographs, certificates, measurement documents and other supporting material when using HuntVerify services.

Supporting documentation submitted for verification may be accessible to authorised HuntVerify personnel involved in reviewing or administering a record.

Submission of supporting material does not automatically mean that the material will be displayed publicly. HuntVerify may use or display only the information reasonably required for the relevant service or public record.

Users are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights or permission to submit photographs and documents to HuntVerify.
 

8. MEMBERSHIP AND PAYMENT INFORMATION

HuntVerify may process information necessary to administer paid memberships, membership status, transactions and related services.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment service providers. Payment providers may collect and process payment information in accordance with their own terms and privacy practices.

HuntVerify does not require members to publicly disclose payment information as part of their HuntVerify profile or trophy records.

HuntVerify may send service-related communications concerning account activity, memberships, trophy submissions, verification status, Slam progress, achievements, enquiries, security, support and other platform activity.

These communications may be necessary to provide or administer HuntVerify services.

10. TRUSTED OUTFITTERS AND PROFESSIONAL HUNTERS

HuntVerify may collect information from outfitters, professional hunters, guides and other industry participants when they apply for, maintain or use HuntVerify services.

This may include business names, contact information, locations, descriptions, websites, photographs, application information and information necessary to assess or administer participation in HuntVerify programmes.

Information approved for a public Trusted Outfitter or professional profile may be displayed publicly through HuntVerify.

11. OUTFITTER ENQUIRIES

Where HuntVerify provides a feature allowing a user to contact an outfitter or other participating professional, information supplied through the enquiry may be transmitted to the intended recipient.

This may include the sender's name, contact details, enquiry information and other information voluntarily included in the message.

Users should avoid including unnecessary sensitive personal information in enquiries.
 

12. COOKIES AND WEBSITE TECHNOLOGIES

HuntVerify and the services used to operate the website may use cookies and similar technologies for functions such as website operation, account sessions, security, preferences, performance and analytics.

HuntVerify services are not intended to encourage children to independently enter into memberships, payments or contractual transactions where they are not legally permitted to do so.

Where information relating to a minor is submitted in connection with a hunting achievement, the person submitting that information must have the appropriate authority, consent or lawful basis to do so.
