HUNTVERIFY POLICIES

CODE OF CONDUCT

Last updated: 3 October 2026

1. PURPOSE OF THIS CODE

HuntVerify is built to document hunting achievements, preserve hunting legacies and strengthen trust within the hunting community.

This Code of Conduct establishes the standards expected from individuals and organisations using HuntVerify services, participating in HuntVerify programmes or interacting with other users through the platform.

Use of HuntVerify should reflect honesty, respect, responsibility and the integrity of the hunting record.

2. WHO THIS CODE APPLIES TO

This Code applies to HuntVerify members, hunters, professional hunters, guides, outfitters, applicants, partners and other users of HuntVerify services.

Additional requirements may apply to particular services, including trophy verification, membership and the HuntVerify Trusted Outfitter programme.

Where another HuntVerify policy establishes more specific requirements, those requirements apply together with this Code.

3. HONESTY AND INTEGRITY

Users must provide truthful and accurate information when interacting with HuntVerify.

Users must not knowingly submit false, fabricated, altered or materially misleading information relating to trophies, measurements, hunts, identities, licences, businesses or achievements.

Attempts to obtain HuntVerify recognition or verification through deception may result in rejection, correction, suspension or removal of the affected record or account.

4. TROPHY RECORD INTEGRITY

Trophy records submitted to HuntVerify must represent genuine hunting achievements and must comply with the applicable HuntVerify verification requirements.

Users must not intentionally falsify trophy measurements, species information, hunt information, photographs, supporting documents or the identity of the hunter.

Trophy verification is governed by the separate HuntVerify Trophy Verification Policy.

5. CERTIFICATES AND HUNTVVERIFY IDENTIFIERS

HuntVerify Trophy IDs, Certificate IDs, Achievement Numbers, certificates and verification marks must not be falsified, altered, duplicated for another record or presented in a misleading manner.

Users must not represent an unverified, suspended or rejected record as HuntVerify verified.

Public verification services should be used to confirm the current status of applicable HuntVerify records.

6. SLAMS, ACHIEVEMENTS AND RECORDS

Users participating in HuntVerify Slams, Achievements, rankings or record listings must do so fairly and accurately.

Users must not manipulate submissions, measurements, identities or supporting evidence in an attempt to qualify for an achievement or obtain an improper ranking.

HuntVerify may review an achievement, ranking or record where credible information raises concerns regarding its accuracy or eligibility.

7. RESPECTFUL CONDUCT

Users must communicate with other members, hunters, outfitters, professional hunters, HuntVerify personnel and other participants respectfully.

Harassment, threats, intimidation, targeted abuse or deliberately disruptive behaviour may result in restrictions on the use of HuntVerify services.

Legitimate disagreements, complaints or disputes should be raised through appropriate communication or support channels.

8. PROFESSIONAL HUNTERS, GUIDES AND OUTFITTERS

Professional hunters, guides and outfitters using HuntVerify are expected to represent their qualifications, licences, services, hunting areas and businesses accurately.

They must not intentionally mislead hunters regarding hunting opportunities, pricing, accommodation, licences, permits or services.

Participation in HuntVerify does not replace any professional, legal or regulatory requirements applicable within the jurisdiction in which they operate.

9. TRUSTED OUTFITTERS

Outfitters participating in the HuntVerify Trusted Outfitter programme must comply with the HuntVerify Trusted Outfitter Standards.

Trusted Outfitter status must not be represented as a guarantee by HuntVerify of a hunt, service, transaction or outcome.

HuntVerify Trusted Outfitter branding may only be used while the applicable status remains active and in accordance with HuntVerify requirements.

10. COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE LAW

Users are responsible for complying with applicable hunting laws, licences, permits, quotas, firearm requirements, wildlife regulations and other legal obligations relevant to their activities.

HuntVerify does not authorise hunting activity and does not replace governmental or regulatory authorities.

Users must not knowingly use HuntVerify to document, promote or facilitate unlawful activity.

11. RESPONSIBLE SUBMISSIONS

Users should submit information and supporting material that is relevant to the HuntVerify service being used.

Users must have the necessary rights or permission to submit photographs, documents and other content.

Content should not intentionally infringe the rights of another person or misrepresent another person's hunting achievement.

12. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL INFORMATION

Users must respect the privacy and personal information of others.

Personal information obtained through HuntVerify should not be misused, unlawfully disclosed or used for harassment, fraud or other improper purposes.

HuntVerify's handling of personal information is governed by the HuntVerify Privacy Policy.

13. FRAUD AND IMPERSONATION

Users must not impersonate another hunter, member, professional hunter, outfitter, HuntVerify representative or other person.

Fraudulent accounts, false identities, manipulated documentation and deliberate attempts to deceive HuntVerify or another user are prohibited.

HuntVerify may restrict or suspend access while credible allegations of fraud or impersonation are reviewed.

14. PLATFORM MISUSE

Users must not intentionally interfere with, abuse or manipulate HuntVerify systems or services.

This includes attempts to manipulate rankings, verification results, enquiries, memberships, achievements or public records through fraudulent or unauthorised means.

Users must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to another user's account, private information or restricted HuntVerify systems.

15. CONTENT AND PUBLIC RECORDS

Certain information submitted to HuntVerify may be displayed publicly where the user has chosen or authorised that information to form part of a public HuntVerify record or feature.

Users remain responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of content they submit.

HuntVerify may remove or restrict content that materially violates applicable policies, legal requirements or the integrity of the platform.

16. COMMERCIAL CONDUCT

Users conducting business through contacts or enquiries originating from HuntVerify should communicate commercial terms accurately and transparently.

HuntVerify is not automatically a party to bookings, hunts, agreements or financial transactions between users and third parties.

Users remain responsible for conducting appropriate due diligence before entering into commercial arrangements.

17. REPORTING CONCERNS

Users may report suspected fraudulent records, misuse of HuntVerify identifiers, serious misconduct or other material violations through HuntVerify's available contact or support channels.

Reports should contain sufficient information to allow the matter to be reasonably identified and reviewed.

Submitting knowingly false or malicious reports against another user may itself constitute a violation of this Code.

18. REVIEW OF REPORTED CONDUCT

HuntVerify may review credible reports relating to conduct that could materially affect the integrity or safety of the platform or its programmes.

HuntVerify may request information from relevant parties where reasonably necessary to review the matter.

A review by HuntVerify does not constitute a judicial, governmental or regulatory investigation.

19. ACTION FOR VIOLATIONS

Depending on the circumstances, HuntVerify may reject or correct a submission, restrict access to a service, suspend an account or programme status, revoke an achievement or verification, or remove a user from an applicable HuntVerify programme.

The action taken may depend on the seriousness of the conduct, available information and the effect on HuntVerify records or services.

Where appropriate, HuntVerify may allow information to be provided before a final decision is made.

20. PRESERVING RECORD INTEGRITY

Actions taken against an account, member or programme participant do not necessarily require the deletion of legitimate historical HuntVerify records.

Where appropriate, HuntVerify may preserve accurate historical trophy or achievement information while correcting, restricting or updating the status of affected records.

The integrity and accuracy of the HuntVerify record system remain an important consideration when addressing violations.

21. CHANGES TO THIS CODE

HuntVerify may update this Code of Conduct as the platform, community, programmes or applicable requirements develop.

The current version will be made available through the HuntVerify website together with the applicable last-updated date.

Where appropriate, HuntVerify may provide additional notice of material changes.

22. CONTACT HUNTVVERIFY

Questions or concerns regarding this Code of Conduct or suspected violations may be submitted through the HuntVerify contact or support channels provided on the website.

Where a matter concerns a specific trophy, achievement, member, outfitter or other HuntVerify record, users should provide the applicable HuntVerify identifier or sufficient information to identify the relevant record where available.
